From ideas to mockups
From the start using Adobe Illustrator.
I started with some simple shapes, consisting of the colors of my aura. These colors are a calming representation of how I feel. The gradient sky meshes well with the blue mountains.
With a template of an xbox controller, I used a clipping mask over the finished illustration.
From Illustrator to Photoshop
Using extended knowledge of the adobe programs, I brought the file into Photoshop so I can create a mockup of the xbox controller. I distorted and warped the design to fit over top a picture of an actual controller. I added in some wear and tear of the controller to highlight the real factor of mockups. Shaping it to the controller was a process of perspective and patience.
